I was craving Chinese yesterday on the way home and was in the 410/Wurzbach area and this was the only spot on the way home and my last chance for Chinese so, I took a chance on it. It’s a little place against the wall and I’ve passed by it many times but wow am I glad I finally stopped there! It’s not too big inside but has big booths, it is dimly lite and has a calm atmosphere and pretty decor. The young lady who helped me was very sweet, quick and very attentive. The Lemon chicken lunch special was amazing! The dish came with 2 green onion cream Rangoons (you can get fried wontons or egg roll I think there are other option) 2 big scoops of fried rice, soup, and a huge crispy chicken breast, (and a huge glass of water with lemon to wash it all down), a filling lunch for me all under 13! (Not including tip) From what I could see if the menu, everything was reasonably priced as well. I order the lemon chx dish at all the Asian restaurants I go to and some are too orange flavored or sugary but this one was perfect! Not too sweet not too sour, just the right hint of lemon. And the hot & sour soup was tasty as well! This is definitely the place to get this favorite chicken dish of mine now; the funny thing is, I gave the lady in-front my compliments and she said, that it’s actually a customer favorite and most ordered thing there! I can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu with my family. I left so incredibly full & satisfied.

Moved from Houston recently and was looking for a Cantonese style Chinese restaurant. After numerous tries I found this place on Google maps. Wow, great tasting food. We come here at least once a week now and have been very pleased. Customer service oriented and friendly people here that should not disappoint. There should be something for everyone here to like. Give them a try

Pengs Chinatown has always been a favorite of mine since the early 90s. Through the years we become friends with the owners, Jenny, Mary, and their family. The food has always been deliciously consistent and reasonably priced. The service is always point with both attentiveness and friendliness. It's great to see how many loyal and happy customers Chinatown has had through the years. Highly recommended!

We ended up here on accident because the restaurant we were going to had closed. Let me say, this place is so good. A hidden gem. My husband loves Mongolian beef and he always rates a place by how they make Mongolian beef and most places bombard the dish with green bell peppers and he said if they know what they are doing they won't put any in. They did not and the dish was amazing. I got the Kung Pao chicken & it was so delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. The food is not expensive for the quality and amount you get. 10 out of 10.

Went to lunch on a Wednesday and was seated right away. The restaurant was almost at full capacity, but we were attended to rather quickly. All the iced tea is unsweetened so you'll have to put your own sugar, this is not a problem for me personally since I prefer unsweetened tea. I ordered sesame chicken and won ton soup. The soup was relaxing and wasn't too salty it tasted home made, all the food tasted home made. The rice wasn't oily or over cooked it tasted healthy. The sesame chicken wasn't too sweet and had a good flavor to it. The egg roll was amazing to me, had the perfect crunch and filled with vegetables, not too oily either. Overall the lunch experience was great and it has my co-workers wanting to go back as soon as possible. I'm looking forward to trying the beef and broccoli and will post more pics when I'm able.

we have ate here multiple times most of the time it’s very good! My husband loves the sweet and sour chicken from here I usually get general chicken but I have tried other things on the menu. Kids like the rice. The wonton soup is so good! The place is worth trying out. Large portions and price is not bad at all.
